Wildcard DNS for everyone

xip.io is a magic domain name that provides wildcard DNS for any IP address. Say your LAN IP address is 10.0.0.1. Using xip.io, 10.0.0.1.xip.io or www.10.0.0.1.xip.io or mysite.10.0.0.1.xip.io or foo.bar.10.0.0.1.xip.io resolves to 10.0.0.1 and so on. You can use these domains to access virtual hosts on your development web server from devices on your local network, like iPads, iPhones, and other computers. No configuration required!

Deploy Cisco cEdge (csr1000v-ucmk9.16.11.1a-serial.qcow2) to EVE-NG

Step 1. SSH to EVE and login as root, from cli and create directory for CSRv:
 mkdir /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/csr1000vng-universalk9.SDWAN.16.11.1a

Step 2. Upload the downloaded csr1000v-ucmk9.16.11.1a-serial.qcow2 image to the /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/csr1000vng-universalk9.SDWAN.16.11.1a using FileZilla or WinSCP.

Step 3. Go to image location and rename it to virtioa.qcow2:
cd /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/csr1000vng-universalk9.SDWAN.16.11.1a
mv csr1000v-ucmk9.16.11.1a-serial.qcow2 virtioa.qcow2

Step 4. Fix EVE-NG permissions:
/opt/unetlab/wrappers/unl_wrapper -a fixpermissions

Now you can add the vCSR (cEdge) to your topology using template named Cisco CSR 1000V (XE 16.x)
